Palaxy is a brand-driven design studio founded in 2019, with members mainly located in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
Palaxy is dedicated to creating brand and product design that resonate with consumers for eco-friendly technology brands. In recent years, we have focused on the green energy industry, providing innovative, diverse, elegant, and authentic integrated design solutions for start-up technology companies going overseas, and completing design incubation from 0 to 1.
Our professional accolades include: IF Design Award 2024, IDEA 2023 (Finalist), Brandstar Award 2022, CES 2022 - TWICE Picks Award and TechRadar Pro Picks Award.

Team Members
Yuchen Cao
Founder and Executive Director
Product Design Lead
Yuchen has worked at German industrial design agency designaffairs (now part of Accenture). Service areas include home appliances, IOT, smart wearables, medical equipments, and automotive products. She has managed and participated in multiple domestic and international projects, winning multiple iF and Red Dot Awards for consumer electronics.
Yuchen holds a Master's degree in Furniture Design from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in the UK , and has completed the London University's Architecture Foundation course as an elective, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Tongji University.
Areas of expertise: project management and execution, industrial design, furniture design, materials and processes, design research.
Zheli Wang
Founder and Creative Partner
Brand Design Lead
Zheli has formerly worked at the well-known architectural firm Standard Architecture, serving first-tier real estate, public buildings, social housing, architecture biennials, and other projects.
Zheli holds a Master's degree in Product and Spatial Design from Aalto University in Finland, with a Minor degree in Textile and Pattern Design. She also participated in an exchange program in Public Private department and Atelier Color at Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from Tongji University.
Areas of expertise: brand strategy and design, color and graphic design, product conceptual design, spatial design.
Liyang Xu
Creative Director
Brand Design Consultant
Liyang has formerly worked at well-known international brand consulting firms, Prophet and Superunion, where he led multiple brand-related projects with a focus on brand visual design and creativity. He has provided design services for various industries, including technology, real estate, hospitality, finance, and consumer goods.
Liyang holds a Master's degree in Visual Communication and Packaging Design from Pratt Institute in the United States, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Tongji University.
