Mango Power Union
Detachable Home Portable Power Station
Mango Power Union, the world's first home photovoltaic power grid energy storage system with a combined parent-child design, features a stylish and minimalist design infused with humanity that can naturally blend into modern home life.
In our early research, we found that the current energy storage market is filled with many brands of pure B2B mode energy storage products. They are outdated, rough, and industrial looking, with weak continuity between different categories, resulting in a poor user experience that is disconnected from modern lifestyles.
As a result, we saw an opportunity to innovate. Together with our client, we established a strategic direction for this project: to design a product that bridges the gap between B2B and B2C markets by creating an exceptional consumer energy storage brand and product.

Product Family
Mango Power targets middle- and upper-class consumers aged 35 and over in Europe and the US who live in detached villas, particularly middle-aged men.
The MPU includes the "Power Home" and detachable "Power Move" for home backup power and portable travel.
We also designed related family products , including inverters and power boxes, while maintaining consistency in the design language.
Organic Form
The design inspiration comes from the organic form of the mango, giving people a friendly and comfortable feeling. The main colors including technology silver and cool gray-blue, gives a sense of high-end intelligence.
We further explored the "mango" concept and incorporated organic curves to cut open the shell to reveal the core, giving the product a natural and biomimetic feel. The gradient heat dissipation holes on the side give the product a sense of technology. These unique and vivid details give the product a beautiful appearance from different angles.
mUnion Connection
One of the major technological innovations of this product is the "mUnion Connection," a 2-in-1 port that serves as a communication and power supply interface between parent and child components.
Our innovative solution includes a thick-walled protective interface that ensures safety, an asymmetrical design to prevent confusion, and a hidden handle for easy carrying. Removing the child component is as simple as extracting the fruit from its shell.
Integrated Charging Surface
Complicated power equipment interfaces can be hazardous and unfriendly.
To solve this, we've divided the black socket components into two sections on the top and back, arranged in a grid pattern resembling mango pulp. The top half provides wireless charging, with a dustproof rubber cover imitating mango skin.
Our integrated charging surface enhances the user experience and increases reliability.
